When we become older and start thinking about past time in the career, you may have sad feeling and wonder that "have i ever dared to give up a tired job to chase on my passion?" About 75% of people are not brave enough to leave a job with a high salary although they know that it’s turning their life as “an engine”.

A survey conducted by manpower consulting experts for people within ages 25-55 shows that regretful things in career do not depend on sectors or fields. From the employer of construction sector, rich businessmen to photographers or doctors, foreman...all of them have quite same disappointment.

    1. Money is the only goal in your career

This is the biggest regret of those who choose job with only aim is to earn money but at last, they feel bored about that. The employer of a named bank laments “I dreamed I could get rid of my job each day, leave stress behind but I have too many commitments”. Calling it as “a golden handcuff” is not only a joke.

    2. Begin your dream lately.

This is remorse from people who dared to leave present work to pursue their favorite jobs. Many of us felt fare and worried when to think about that. However, it means as a rope tying up us for boring long years later.

A photographer said that: “Lost time to do dislike jobs will never come back and you never take back it”

    3. Waste too much time when you are a student

When studying at school, most of us do not spend time on studying about living lessons, real experience about discovered subjects or studied majors. Instead of that, you have much time for gathering friends, fellows, or entertainments…Later, when you get married, have a job…and many things take your time and the life becomes busier…you may desire to turn back the school to get deeper researches for resetting your career.

    4. I wish I could make a decision by my feeling.

Premonition or afflatus is unable to guess, but it can be the reason to change your career path. Occasionally, if you venture to make a decision, you will get a greater success. That is better than you rest on your laurels and make up your mind to suffer the current tedious working.
Hoping that, anyone of us are judicious enough to have wise decisions for a more comfortable life ;)

I'm sure all of us have regrets, actions that we think are mistakes. But there's no use in thinking of mistakes and regrets. What's important is where we are now and how we reached this point. For me, life is to be enjoyed no matter what situation you are in. The past is over and let's look ahead and move on.

I think lately, the most regrets I have in my career is that my career has consisted of dead end, hard knox, type jobs. I know some people might think it is too late to study and learn a new career, but I would have to disagree.

It's only natural for people to start looking back at mistakes they may have made in the past, especially when it comes to their career.

I wouldn't have thought many people would be able to say they got their dream job right from day one and they've been happy ever since.

Regret etc is very much about having the benefit of hindsight. Not all of us are in a position to have that hindsight and sometimes we create a potential path that possibly couldn't have happened in the first place, or wouldn't have been that good anyway. That said, if you really are in a bad place with your job then it's your duty to do something about it.

Not really to be honest. I don't regret pretty anything as for now. I'm not saying that I did all the stuff I've been through perfect but I feel okay as for now.

Hmm, well said, actually I'm thinking that there are lots of things I regret, but since the situation is already here and changes are not that easy to do, I just deal with them, then. That is why, yes, you should really think about everything before you decide or do something about it, but in some cases that you experience unexpected things, you just need to learn to adjust.

Your right, hindsight is a wonderful thing and if we could know how something is going to turn our before we do it, then I'm sure we'd all be in a better position.

Even though a lot of people will have regrets, including myself, I think in a way them mistakes have probably made us stronger and we should treat them as lessons learned, rather than dwelling on them.

That's right, the past is over and the best thing we can do is to learn how to accept and adjust!
Thank all my friends a lot

My main regret is that I didn't take advantage of when I was earning stupidly large amounts of money. Should have saved an awful lot more than I did, which would have made life a lot easier now! Ah, well... at least it was an enjoyable time. :)

I rarely look back at mistakes. Usually, when I've screwed up, I'll determine what kind of lessons can be learned from the experience and move on. There is little sense in dwelling on "what if's" when we could be concentrating on improving the present and the future.

It may not be the best under the sun. May not be the most paying. It's back-breaking, heart-wrenching, head-cracking, freaky sometimes, but it definately is rewarding. I get alot of satisfaction from my clients, and that's all that matters. That smile from them makes all the work worth it.

Humans are born to make mistakes, sometimes you need to fail to learn. We quit with the failed career but we should never stop on trying something else.

I have regrets in life but I don't dwell on that feeling. I know that there's a reason why things happen. I would like to think that I am on the right track and I don't need to go back to the time where I failed.

Everyone has a own regrets and mistake that they do in their lives, what is important today is where we are now and what we are reaching for it. Life is full of trials and mistakes, but it depends on us if how we can handle the situation.

We sometimes make a wrong decision and we regret that. In life we cannot perfect everything, so never regret the times we have done wrong, what is more important is that we realized what is right and still looking for ways on how to improve ourselves.

I regret not being more aggressive in asking for a raise I deserve. Also, not thinking of saving when I was earning really well.

How about now Anna? I think your regret is the common mistakes that freshers often make. The same to me :)

I am more well-versed in handling my finances now compared to when I was starting out as an employee.

Regret is a word that every human being has been through and will be in future , its about how you over come your regret and take it as a learning lesson and went ahead and escape the bullet next time on wards
