will the site rank high in google because it ranked on top in yahoo search?
I don't really think so. They have different algorithms.
No it won't. There are a number of differences between Google and Yahoo SEO. A few of them being ,Yahoo does not check Java and iFrame usage as much as Google bots do. Also Keyword density is critical for Yahoo, and internal links count for page rank in Yahoo.
Spot on, Yahoo is about about keywords in domain, domain age, meta descriptions in keywords tag, etc where Google is more interested in authority, trust, quality and good back link profiles.
it doesn't sound like it really does apply in my site which I've been trying to rank with a phrase "makeityourring diamond engagement rings"
it was registered only last may but ranked almost on top of yahoo.
Recently I added new sitemap to YSE, it require Microsoft approval. Forget about yahoo SEO. Yahoo is in process to sync search result with Bing. If you rank well in Bing, it is automatically rank well in yahoo.
Both Bing and Google have different algorithms, SERP sure different.
so what type of seo technique must i concentrate now to rank well in google besides link building and article submission?
Instead of advise user how to make link building, where to submit articles. I would advise focus and monitor the bounce rate traffic. Only relevant content will make user stay longer. By reducing bounce rate, you will automatically rank well and get more referal traffic from worth of mouth.
1. By insert a Youtube video, it make user at least stay 2 - 3 mins.
2. By sharing some outstanding idea, it encourage return traffic + new traffic.

my blog get number 1 on google but not yahoo too
Not all the time. Since most people look for a larger video size, they will just click on the video to bring them to the YouTube page.
Another way is to add target="_blank" attributes to all external links. So instead of going away from your page, it will open a new tab/window where the new page loads.
it may be possible that your keyword show in top 10 in yahoo but not see the result in Google. Because we know well that both are own spider and both are best search engine.
My new site: http://www.myanmartours.asia is listed on the first page of yahoo ( UK) but not in google too
i was wondering maybe we've did something that we've ranked high in some search engine, i just don't know which of it
nice travel site my .asia site also rank well.
I don't think so,Google is different from yahoo maybe It will not appear in google.
i hope so. they don't differ much as i can see lots of popular site rank high on both search engine. so if one site rank high on google, then it may also rank high on yahoo and vice-verse.
I think both have different algorithms, some times a site is ranked equally on both sites and once a site listed in Google was not available in Yahoo. I'm no expert in this field but as far as I've learned both differ.
For instance I search a company name Le brite on both engines and the results are totally different
Agree that, this is the best way to implement video.
