What is the difference between RAM and ROM?
RAM is some thing termed as random access memory where the ongoing applications get loaded and the process goes on. After the completion of the process the application leaves the memory. Where as ROM is read only memory, that means any CD, or other device which can only be read and not be written.
ROM is known as Read-only memory. ROM is a form of data storage space in computers. ROM is non-volatile and their data does not erased when the computer is switched off.
RAM is known as Random Access Memory. RAM is a form of data storage that can be accessed randomly at any time.RAM is used for both read and write while ROM is used only for reading.RAM is volatile and is erased when the computer is switched off.
RAM : Random Access Memory Is the chip which using in the PC to make process fast for quick response.
ROM : Read Only Memory, is the external box use to read CD data on PC.
