I just have a few questions for members about this please.

Are the TOS and PP specific to individual countries or can they be generic?

If a privacy policy/ToS is on a site, any member that agrees to it has to abide by it, no matter what country as it is your site. So a PP/ToS can be generic.

JPM I feel that generic ones would be adequate for most circumstances, assuming that you customise them just a little bit to fit in with your own site. However, if your site becomes hugely popular or you're accepting extremely personal / sensitive information from your visitors, then you probably need to consult with a solicitor and have them professionally written for your specific circumstances.
