    No, i dont use it and it is fine if you want to use it. However, if you are using some other PPC advertising such as adsense, then you cant use either pop-up or pop under since it is against adsense TOS.

    The reason i dont use them just because i hate pop-up and pop-under, i will leave the website if i saw any of them.

    So it means Adsense won't allow them?

    Most likely, the majority of people browsing the Internet don't like pop-up or pop-under ads. Personally I avoid sites that use them.

    That is correct Adsense Program Policies forbid the display of Adsense on sites that use pop-ups or pop-unders. From their policy;

    Thanks for those information. I haven't really accepted the guy's offer so it's fine.
    BTW, if Adsense disallows pop-ups, why is that Imageshack, who is displaying Adsense ads, have pop-ups?

    Pop-ups are new windows that shows up when you enter a certain site. Hence the word "pop-up."
    Most of the time, they are ads.
    If you have a pop-up blocker installed on your browser, you might not notice them.

    According to wiki:
    A variation on the pop-up window is the pop-under advertisement, which opens a new browser window hidden under the active window. Pop-unders do not interrupt the user immediately and are not seen until the covering window is closed, making it more difficult to determine which web site opened them.

    I don't see any pop-ups on Image Shack, perhaps my browser blocks them. I don't know why Google would allow them to have Adsense and pop-ups, perhaps they make exceptions for very large and popular sites. However, their terms disallow them, so I wouldn't risk having your Adsense account banned, by displaying Adsense ads on any pages that also use pop-ups.

    Maybe we mis-interpret their TOS? Like they should be against their TOS to have the Adsense ads shown within the Pop-Up window instead of having pop-ups?

    That seems quite definitive. However, if you want to know for sure, the best thing to do would be to ask Google directly. When contacting them include a link to your site, so that they know the specific context.

    The main reason why you should not use it is because it irritates visitors and it will decrease your amount of visitors. But, if the offer is of huge amount then you should think about it.
