Hi Goldenboy. Welcome to the forum and we hope that you enjoy your stay with us.

Forex is a risky business to step into as termed by many. However people are in the business and they are raking in money while some are losing too. Its just a cycle that money goes from one to another. As you might be aware that Forex is trading of shares, commodity and foreign exchange. What specifically are you interested in? I'm sure many of our experienced members can be of great help to you.

Forex means Foreign Exchange Market or currency market where one currency is traded to another currency. It is the one of the biggest market in all over the world. People come to exchange the foreign currency into their own currency. Generally the world currency has no fix rate so this in this market the rate is always variable.

Like any trading on an exchange, Forex is a zero sum game, before transaction costs. If you listen to the Forex scams, you'll hear that you are guaranteed to make money!

BULL! For every winner there is a loser, and both the winner and loser have transaction costs which reduce the winnings and increase the losses.

Of course, people do make money in Forex, as they do in any other exchange. If you guess right, and the market moves your way, you win. If the market moves against you, you lose. In the meantime there are big hedge funds with the fastest computers and the fastest internet connections that can instantly trade huge amounts of currencies in a split second to take advantage of any momentary differential than may exist.

You may beat them, but the pros with the big iron, together with the fact that there are transaction costs, means that the theoretically zero sum game is really not a zero sum game. If you put 100 individuals in front of a computer trading Forex, on average at the end of 30 days there will be more losers than winners, and the losers will have lost more money than the winners won.

A few of the winners will have won big. Those are the stories you'll hear about, but the big losers will have lost more than the big winners won. No one will be talking about the big losers.

When engaging into Forex I would consider learning & modelling the best strategies a Forex-trader uses.

The foreign exchange market (forex, FX, or currency market) is a global, worldwide-decentralized financial market for trading currencies. Financial centers around the world function as anchors of trading between a wide range of different types of buyers and sellers around the clock, with the exception of weekends. The foreign exchange market determines the relative values of different currencies.

Marcus is NOT a FX trader, her merely sells courses selling FX strategies and the majority of those people he has sold expensive FX courses have not made any money. He pays someone else to manage his account for him. Paying anyone to do a FX trading course will not make you a successful trader. FX strategies can be easily found online. Babypips.com is a good place to start. No course can teach you your own psychology behind trading which is why most people - 98.5% in fact lose money on spread betting accounts.

that is also as a variant but even if you have all you need and don't have skills in trading it will be to difficult to trade, just try to find good specialist, on next thread I see some people who can help.
