Our business is entering phase 2. We are a new golf apparel company who is really generating a buzz with modern golfers ages 20 and up. We have done our due diligence in market research and have taken the next crucial step of getting our business plan completed. We are now looking for start up investors who would be willing to invest in our company so that we can take it to the next level.

My question is.... What is a good avenue to find investors? Where could we present our business plan and ideas to people who are interested in start ups?

Thank you for your help and advice.

Arcaign, can you please remind us of which country or state your business is based in?

Are you clear about how much investment you require, the return your investors will get and how you will use their investment?

You could start your search locally by contacting your local banks, government enterprise organisations, business and business angel networks. You are also welcome to advertise for investors in our Member Ads section, we do have some members looking for investment opportunities here.

Maybe you can advertise (paid ads) your need of investors. If they see the potential of your concepts, they will surely be up for it.

Paid ads could include: newspaper, bulletins, blogs, or even local radio. :)

Arcaign have you tried any of the methods I mentioned above, to find an investor?

We are looking into the options presented. We are also looking at forming a partnership with our manufacture which would be beneficial for both parties so hopefully that will work out as it will eliminate the need for investors.

I truly appreciate the advice you guys provide... Thank you.
