Did you ever ask yourself how some companies seem to grow overnight? Their secret is quite simple: BPO. Business process outsourcing is the simplest and most efficient manner of being able to retain only the core operations of your business, while having the less critical ones performed by a specialized BPO services provider. Many business owners and CEOs prefer this method, because it is simply impossible to develop long term strategies and take care of the minor daily details of each department and operation.

Consider, for instance, someone like Steve Jobs having to deal with the shortage of printing paper in the HR department! As hilarious as it seems, without a BPO provider, top CEOs would have to deal with that, too! And consider the huge savings a company has when it chooses business process outsourcing. The salaries, the rent, the office related expenses can mount sky high and vary wildly with the changing prices and consumption. The fee owed to a BPO provider is updated annually or twice per year and is nowhere near the expenses of maintaining a fully staffed department within the company.

Also, business process outsourcing presents no risks of data leaking. BPO providers have airtight policies regarding confidentiality and data safety. For disbelievers, one question: have you ever happened across a leaked confidential document from Apple, Coca Cola or McDonald’s?

So, the conclusion is simple: keep your core operations, and outsource everything else to BPO providers

This is absolutely true, and it's getting more accessible for smaller tasks. Mechanical Turk by Amazon handles insanely simple tasks still beyond the realm of computers. Example: you have 1000 leads and want to categorize the domain names of email addresses by business type, but no computer program can effectively do this. Describe what you want and some mechanical turker will do this for 30-50 cents a site. I've even heard of employees at big companies outsourcing their repetitive tasks without telling their management.

    This is definitely true!
It could take you lots of money, large amount of time building and looking for a place to put an extension of your company.
But if you go to outsourcing you can have it for just overnight instead of months or even years of work.
You can get employees directly its like hiring a company to be an extension of your company.

Process is simple and easy. You just need to be careful in choosing the right staff/company you will be working for.
