HI - I inheirited the job of optimising a wordpress site but cannot see where to edit the meta tags. Have I missed something or are these edit functions not visible to me because of security levels on the site - ie I need to be authorised?

malkyb, you could download and install the free all-in-one-seo-pack plugin for wordpress from here.

You could also use Jeff Johnson's Traffic Getting SEO plugin, which does a complete search engine
optimization of your blog almost automatically. I've installed it in a blog and am very happy with
    the results so far.

Visit the website here. There is a link there for the Free Traffic Getting plugin.
