I'd like some advice on a method of sales of articles. Here are some options. Comments on pros and cons, especially costs, are welcome.

    1) Get a website with Paypal service. Offer a synopsis of the article on the website and, when payment is received, email the article (an ebook of some kind) with a password to open it. This way I get most of the money. I don't know what Paypal service will cost or if I need to purchase an SSL.

    2) Get a website without Paypal service. Send the customer to Amazon to purchase the article. Email the password to the customer. Amazon takes 30% in this way, but no Paypal fee.

    3) Skip the website and sell the ebook on Amazon. Send the password when the sale is recorded. Marketing the article may not be great in this case.

Other options unknown, but I'm not keen on bank card purchases because of the costs.

Note that the articles will be sold for more than $100.

This will be done in Canada, BTW, if it makes any difference.
