I figured I mise as well state that this is also true, not only when you apply for AdSense, but even after you're already a publisher with them. Copying other people's work is a big no no with Google, and they could suspend your account for such actions.

If you're trying to provide a service that you feel needs to have things "copy/pasted" than make sure to give the source of where you found the article, towards the beginning or end of the post. This will more than likely help you out if Google is complaining about you using copyrighted information.

Be aware though, that in their terms of service, they say that copyrighted information is not allowed to be on your site with their AdSense ads unless you own the rights to them.

Adsense now getting more and more care about the website/blog quality. Adsense publisher is more than enough and they are actually filter out those low quality publisher. Copay paste content can never be considered as quality site, and it is actually against copy right, so better use unique quality content.

On the other hand, unique quality content is also helps alot in SEO.

Publishers only get paid by Adsesne because advertisers are prepared to pay for those ads to be published. Advertisers want their ads to be displayed on quality sites, that will bring them quality traffic, visitors and customers. If Google don't provide a good service to advertisers, these same advertisers will not pay and there will be no money for publishers. Hence, Google need to be vigilant to ensure that published ads represent good value for money to the advertisers.

Of course and how do you think you'll earn from your website if it's just a copied content! original and good content is a must for anyone who wants to win the adsense game!
