Here are the initial concept of the logo.

    Name: FreshLook Web Design.

The owner said, try using dark red, yellow and orange. But i give a shot on the orange 1st.

Viewers of the logo will only notice the "F" and "L" if they take a very close look at it. Is there any way to make it a little more obvious? Of all the concepts I probably prefer No. 3 most of all. The orange colour does look great, very applicable because it is a "fresh" colour.

I prefer number 1, but invert it vertically so that "F" comes first before "L" since the name of the company is Fresh Look, not Look Fresh. :)
And don't forget to increase the spaces between the letter to make them easily distinguishable.

The color orange looks good. Maybe you can try out the colors stated by the owner.
Maybe experiment a little on color combination. Dark Red and Yellow seems to work out well with each other.

Totally agree with GD there. I'd also look at 'squaring' it off slightly (reduce the width) and perhaps rotating it slightly (e.g. set it at 45 degrees rather than sitting it flat) might give it a nice twist.

I have received the owner's feedback. He said, Everyone likes the idea of making a logo out using the text FL. But he also say than the main text should be softer. Is the color making it kinda hard or harsh feeling?

Yes.. It is pretty cool logo. Orange color looks nice but as owner said you should use some soften text and I think he is right. Also if you can differentiate your logo n test by some font style with the same orange color only, it would be nice.

It's hard to comment on someone's opinion, especially when it's entirely subjective, but I'd assume it's the harsh angles (all 90 degrees) of the letters rather than the colour that he feels is 'harsh'.

Did he give any additional feedback?

You could look at simply rounding the edges to 'soften' the feel of it, but this might not go far enough for the client. They may wish for a more 'fluid' design, so while keeping the 'text' idea coming at it from a totally different angle (I personally liked the 'square' look of it, as it's relevant for a design company).

As an aside, there are some great ideas available on how text logos can be striking available here. I know I bookmarked it as I loved the 'Orion' logo, but some other great logos there that might spark ideas for you now or in the future.

    Merge the F and L
Try to put width of web design as same as "look"

But i think that merge F and L should be hard to do.

Edit : The one you coloured in orange let me think at C ...
