    Hi there,
Hope, I post this thread in the right place, if not then please forgive me.
I need your help. Yesterday I bought a WD SES External Hard Drive 160 GB. I have Win 7 Ultimate N. I lock my drive from bit locker. Suddenly encryption start. Now Its a long time to encrypting. I remove password and wanted to stop encrypting. But there only two options, pause or resume. Now what can I do to stop or cancel the encrypting. In my hard there are lots of important data saved. I wanted to save all data. I play that hard on then PC then it says that format the drive. But when I play in my PC, then the data was saved and start encrypting. Can anybody tell me what can I do now? :(
    Thanks in advance. :)

    System restore.
Do you use windows xp professional edition?

Then try use system restore function in safe mode.
    It should resolve your problem.

gakbisatidur when owners of data want to prevent that data from being read by others they take steps to protect that data. They do this by using a program to transform the data into an unreadable format, then only those with access to the required decoding info can transform the unreadable format into the data that can be read and understood. This process is known as encryption. You can read more about it on Wikipedia - Encryption & Disk Encryption.
