My preference would be for either the second one or the last one. I feel that the second one could be great, I really like the way you have incorporated the circle into the "C", but I do feel that it needs a little work to make it more professional.

The second one is much cleaner and professional, not to mention the C on Circle could not be anymore spot on. If not that, my last resort would be the last as thats a step down but still nice.

Maybe you can post your forum/website link here?

I would vote for the second one. The first and third one are very hard to read and the last logo doesn't really look professional. You would be best to create some stylish text (nothing fancy), add your slogan or forums link and make it look professional. Have a look at the BAF banner/logo. It's simple, easy to read and looks professional.

I also prefer the second one. It's more simple than the three.

Ok, I guess I will put the second one up, it seems to be the one everyone prefers. I took it down because it made the forum look dull. I'll test it out again though.

None of them look good, in my opinion. I would not use shadow effects on a logo like you did on the first and the 3th.
A logo must very simple, you can play with colours, but not force the shadows and effects.
    Good luck.

When choosing a logo I will take consideration on:

    1. color scheme, a logo with 2 colors is more cost effective for printing purpose.
    2. Favicon, can the logo design convert become Favicon
    3. Is the logo impressive and easy to remember?
    4. What if I print that logo into build board, name card, steel, glasses, plastics? is it suitable?

Personally I like option 4, if the graphic images become simple vector, that will be great. Base on above consideration, my vote go for option 2, as it is a clean design.
