    Respected Members,

Last Sunday, One of mine health adviser friend shared with me about Music’s Importance for many types of Pain related to our Body. That was really amazing and also strange for me.

I am quite wondering that can music relieve pain.

    Share your experience here.

    Thank You Very Much

    It's kinda true.
Listening to music is some kind of relaxation.

It's similar to the saying "Laughter is the best Medicine".

I'd believe it. Our body is controlled by our mind, music that helps to soothe and relax the mind could certainly help with pain control.

Why do you ask about this, are you thinking of trying it?

It's a fact and truth that Music heals pain. It has spiritual energy to do that. Music also kills boredom, loneliness, tiredness and diseases.

I agree with devilbatista. Music has a healing effect since it relaxes our soul and give us something to enjoy whenever we hear and listen to one.

    Very true.

When you're in tragedy and listen to funky music then it can relief to much more level. I believe listening music is a way to keep you balance in emotions.

Music has always been my go-to choice for self therapy, meditation, or whatever you want to call it.
I remember way back as a child, sitting in the living room listening to Dad's Pioneer/Technics outfit loving every second of it.

Mozart is great music for calming a child that won't sleep. There has been some research done on this and Mozart came top of the list for helping babies to sleep.

It has been widely used as an effective therapeutic tool in stress and pain management, rehabilitation, and behavior modification, but its effects are not well understood.

Yes, songs and music work great in affecting our emotion.
Try to listen to sad songs and you'll be in sad mood without your notice.

As for me, sometimes when I listen to some songs, they will automatically motivate me into
    taking action.

Do you guys know the Rocky theme? Or the Chariot of Fire, the Olympic theme?
Many people find these kind of music inspiring.
    What do you think?

Here's something cool for you... :D

I definitely agree with this. Music is the Song of our Soul. :)

Listening to music can help you relieve stress, makes you feel good and Music are not just about the melody but also the words that comes from it. This words, most of the times gives you some inspiration.

Even babies grow much bubblier when they get to listen to music everyday, starting with their nursery rhymes.

    I Love Music!

Oh I think it will help with relaxation and stress reduction but if you think you are going to cure cancer with the beatles, I think you are deluding yourself.

Thanks for the reminder Shawn, that song has always inspired me to work harder and it is one of the most energising songs I know, I hadn't heard it in years and it is great to hear it again.

Mozart has helped many a stressed parent to calm a frantic child and help them sleep :)

Stress is one of the great causes of cancer. So maybe by helping people relax and eliminate stress, music can help prevent cancer.

Music has been widely used in psychological treatment and shopping venues to influence people's feelings and reactions.

I've always been a music-fanatic and trying so hard to even deal with it, however it's the music that hasn't any interest in me. But I just love it! :)

Well sometimes music helps a lot in removing stress or when we are feeling down. It relaxes our nerves a bit. :)
