Mobile traffic will surpass desktop by 2015 possibly sooner

    If you look at sales data of mobile devices, the growing usage, and the bandwidth demand, it seems like a no-brainer to focus at least some of a Businesses' efforts would be focused on the mobile side of things. Look around - any Shopping Mall, Restaurant, etc. - everyone's on their phone.

    Mobile marketing is a discipline in itself, no question. I do not see how any organization could avoid to think through the components of Mobile marketing in their plans.

    That actually depends upon a variety of factors including the age group. While the younger generation may prefer to browse the internet through smartphones, it may not be the case with those under the age group of 60-80s. They would simply use a desktop because its bigger and more comfortable to their eyes. But in the general scenario, you are correct and it is foolish for someone to ignore the mobile aspect of their sites :D
