Microsoft disclosed this week vulnerabilities in social networking site Facebook and Google photo management software Picasa that could compromise affected computers.

And it was immediately fixed by Facebook:

Regarding Picasa for Windows version 3.6 build 105.61 and earlier.:

Microsoft noted Google Picasa has an auto-update feature that is enabled by default.

Some of that information goes a little over my head but still good to know that the competition between companies is leading to increased security from without or outside, thanks for the post Dan.
