Meditation?

    Hi to everyone.
    I'm curious to find out what people in this forum think about meditation?

    What do you think about meditation?
    Do you practiced?
    If yes how exactly?
    Do you think it helps business minded people and health in general?

    I will review my personal answers a bit later on after a few answers from the other members.

    I went through a stage of practicing meditation a few years ago. I would do it first thing in the morning and it really does keep you relaxed and positive for the rest of the day. I often think that I should take it up again. It's a fascinating subject when you read of Buddha and others who have achieved nirvana through constant practice.

    I personally think that if you start practicing it again it will benefit you a lot. So what made you stop it, or you just got to busy?

    Meditation ..just witness the flow of thoughts within yourself without getting disturbed or affected by them...as complex as this.. :)

    Or just concentrating your mind over something (must be some good thought or void mind space) with eyes closed..as simple as this /..;)

    It definitely helps by giving you better control over your brain and thought process...

    Well said, I'm asking this questions on purpose, because there are a lot of people out there who think that meditation is B.S
    but fortunately in here are people who understand the meaning of it. :)

    I've never tried meditation and I probably won't as I don't really know in what way it can benefit us. I think I have a good control over my mind and don't need to improve it in any way ;) . To relax and rest, I'm taking a nap and listen to my favourite music, maybe it can be considered as some kind of meditation :)

    I think Meditation is needed for everyone. It keeps you stress-less, calm and mentally healthy. Meditation can be very much beneficial if you are mentally stressed, hurt or need some time to refresh your mind.

    yes meditation really help the persons to make him fit , it helps you to keep stress free and make u mentally and physically fit,.,,,.,

    It's actually a personal choice whether or not to use meditation as your means to be stress free. Others would prefer other exercising methods while others would prefer going to a relaxing place to unwind or just engage in comfort food eating. Personally, I think that meditation and yoga are pretty much a trend nowadays.

    Meditation helps if you can clear your mind. Personally, if I am sitting quietly , my mind is always working. I think I haven't gotten it "right" so far.

    Meditation is certainly very helpful and it keep your mind and body clam and keep you fit metally.

    Best time for meditation is morning time.it relaxes you and the atmosphere at the mrning is very soothing,cool and calm.if you can meditate in the open atmosphere,then nothing better than that:)
    "meditation connects you to god"
    and by meditation you give the time to know yourself more properly:)what your heart says, to work on that is the power given to you by meditation:)

    Meditation increase our concentration.we feel relax after doing meditation.
    But implement proper technique while doing meditation.

    Its a good question and i want to tell that meditation is very helpful to me when i got frustrated then i close my eyes and start meditation, i suggest you all that you should try this it would really help you all to a great extent.

    Meditation is the best method to scale down stress and tension.

    I also meditate by witnessing thoughts that come in my mind. At a point I just come in a witnessing stage separate from thoughts.....

    Meditation would help you a lot if a person do meditation in the right then it would surely help that person and it keeps your body fresh and healthy, and when anybody got tired because of workload or anything then also meditation will be helpful.

    Meditation is good for your health. i love to meditate daily.
