What is your preference for these two? I personally prefer the PC over the mac. In my opinion, PC's are a lot easier to customize than macs are. I will always be a PC person. What about you?

We have been using Windows therefore it feels user friendly. Once you get used to MAC you'll find it easy too & enjoy it more than Windows. But the only reason I prefer Windows is because of the software compatibility. Most of the software's that I like runs on Windows, .exe are vastly available.

When I was in college I first learned how to use computers on a Mac. However, once I started working, most of my employers used PC's and now that's all I use. As Andym said using PC's can be a lot less hassle because of the easy compatibility of any files or documents you create on them.

I have always used PC and as far as I realize mostly people have pcs than Macs, although I can say exactly why. In my area nobody has a Mac.

I actually do use linux on one of my computers. I like it a lot better because you can do basically anything imaginable.

I am using both Mac and PC, although I used PC most of the time, I still love Mac. There are lot of things we can do in a Mac that we can't do in a PC. :D

Reviewers and pundits hotly debate the relative value of a Macintosh versus a PC. Now that all Macs can run Windows (because they use Intel chips), it's no longer entirely an apples-to-oranges comparison (pun intended). However, the Mac OS will only run on a Macintosh computer, which still makes the product line unique. Although there are arguments for both sides, Macs seem to have a leg up in terms of performance. Still, the majority of Americans use PCs, and PCs still seem notably cheaper.

That's no longer an issue though, especially with the Mac App store providing so many free applications that can open and edit Microsoft documents.

My love for Mac comes mainly from the lack of virus' and security problems. Whilst that is always the case, my opinion will stay the same - Mac for me.

Is that because they are less popular than PC's and hence less hackers try to hack them or is it because they are more secure than PCs?

Macintoch computers are very good, you dont have to change nothing to have a top computer...but the price is very big and the pc's are much cheaper, but with bigger problems. I use a mac and i love it.

The price tag shifts me to PCs over Macs.
Come on, I can get a good spec PC with an i7 quad-core processor, 8+ GB of RAM, a high-end graphics card (etc) for the price tag of Apple's 13" MacBook Pro.
