Welcome to Business Advice Forum Sam and thanks for posting your business question. A lot will depend on the country you are located in, because some sites will only lend to businesses in one country. One site that does spring to mind is http://www.prosper.com/.

If you can post a little more info regarding your location, industry sector and specific requirements we may be able to help your further.

We sometimes have investors visiting here and you are welcome to post an ad seeking funding in our Member Ads & Marketplace forum.

Why have you decided on angel investment? Would you consider other forms of investment, such as government funding, friends and family or small business loans?

    Good luck with it!

Sam, here's another idea not too many
people consider. If it makes sense for
your product or service do a pre-publication,
or pre-development offer. You can make the
offer to your list of prospects or to a joint
    venture list.

I know of a few business owners who almost
always use this strategy to raise money or
    launch new products.

There is another place called virginmoneyus.com which also lends money or provides place for you to seek for investors. Try it out. I never tried it.

    All the best

    Hi, Sam!

What is your industry and do you have a business plan?

As Fergal said, where are you located?
