    Hi guys!

Currently I'm working as an SEO but I want to get rid of it now lol :p I think it's getting creepy day by day.

Anyways my brother suggested me to learn .php. I know it's a big thing but I just wanted to know what requirements do I need to have before I enter into .php?
How long does it usually take to learn it completely?

Your suggestions and advices will be much appreciated, thank you! :)

why do you want to get rid of SEO? Looks like you are not accepting changes. SEO is a great game, which makes you addictive, php is very routine and specific.

Very little knowledge of html I have I should say, but I have been told that even if I'm not that good in html, I can still start .php and will eventually learn html as well throughout the courses. How about that?
Anyways I have already started watching videos on YouTube, only primary stuff. Thanks a big time for the suggested sites, they look super useful.

Exactly! I hate changes and updates after updates making me go mad lol. Moreover my projects are ALWAYS from tough niches, sites without content. I rather like routine and specific stuff I guess. Although I know .php isn't gonna be easy at all, but at least I'll know what to do, in SEO it's like quite unpredictable.

    Thanks! Already started. :)

You can certainly learn some html, as you are learning PHP. Most PHP tutorials will include some elements of html. From my personal experience I feel at least a basic understanding of html would make it much easier to learn PHP. However, everyone learns differently, so what works for me, may not be the best method for you.

Good luck with it and please do keep us updated on your progress!

Codecademy.com is great if you don't have a server to test your PHP on.

Do your own research and learn by practicing it. Start with basics, you can learn from w3schools which is the best place to learn for beginners. For advance php, check out php.net, official website of php.
