Friends, I am using AMD processor laptop, 4 Gb RAM. But my laptop running very slow.
If i increase the RAM size to 8 gb, this problem can be solved?
Or any other solution for this?

I have large size software also in my laptop, is that a problem for this slow running?

You system is good, it should not be slow. Try reinstalling your windows, may be your laptop is infected by some virus.

    Hello,
If you are running Win look at the processes and other metrics at Performance Monitor Tools. If you are lucky it is just a program/application pulls your system back.
Look at disk statistics as well: sometimes an AntiVirus software checks the whole system, that uses hdd pretty much.
Upgrading to SSD drive increases speed very much.
    Chill

Clear the temporary files, defragment the drives, and make some free space in the drive where in the OS is installed. I hope upon working on these stuffs the performance would kick start a better performance.

It could be your hard drive getting weak. An SSD hard drive will run very fast and be much more reliable too.

I just put one in and it restarts windows in 18 seconds with NO lag starting large programs immediately after restart.

    Very impressive speeds.
