knowledge on human resources

    I have been reading a lot of articles about leadership and employment skills. But i think i need someone who can elaborate more on what does human resource consultancy all about. Is it just on the employees and employer relationship or much broader than that?

    HR Consultants are responsible for working with management and employees to provide direction, guidance, and advice about the application or interpretation of human resources and labor policies, practices and procedures.

    Hi,
    I strongly do agree with Gary as its relation between management, employees, employers etc. I mean handling problems like employees behaviors and set their directions with the time being. Management is the main responsibility of HR that he has to control at any cost within the organization.

    HR is involved in cross, giving you exposure to different areas of the company. Success depends on all exchanges of information and ideas, by combining resources and harnessing knowledge for each.

    Average HR consultant only focus management, employees direction, guidance, and advice. A better HR should be the one who can organize party event, employee career path, employee benefit, optimize manpower budget.

    In short, HR consultant is important to hiring right candidate and reduce company turn over.

    Better known as Human Resources or HR, refers to that part of management consulting that facilitates human capital management. It performs the important task of bridging the gap between client's human resource needs which are specialized and customized to their organization and the workforce capabilities that are available in the market.

    I think human resource management is all about business and employees relationship. More stronger the relation more productive will be your employees.

    Human resource management is more than just business and employees relationship - but also a way to help improve the culture, the performance and the well-being of people within their business community. If focuses on the study of behavioral patterns of people at workplaces and how to improve the environment for a more product individual, as well as a productive and safe business.

Generally, human resource consultants are outside experts who provide direction to the personnel or human resources (HR) department of an organization. Some human resource consultants are hired to handle recruitment and staffing, conduct performance appraisals, and determine compensation and benefits for employees.     Human Resource Management Department is a very broad department. It is actually a multi tasking department. It is involved in public relations as well as deals the inside matters of an organization. Like employees, HR too is considered as a back bone of the company. Now imagine that how vast their area of responsibilities is.
    They are the ones who resolve the employees disputes.
    Recruitment, employee engagement, employee benefits and compensation, leave policies, employee performance appraisal and a lot more comes under the responsibilities of the HRM Department.
