    Hi Guys,

What should be the limitation of keywords usage in a webpage.

I am having a site in which keywords is in title, description, url, h1 and body. Is it over optimization? For reference you can check this URL http://www.ihealthu.com/get-active

rudradhar you are right to put the keywords in the locations you mentioned. When adding text to your site, try to focus on your visitors, not the search engines. Only place keywords in the site content, when it is natural for them to be there. In other words, don't add keywords to your text just for the benefit of search engines, or include them so much that it is difficult or uncomfortable to read the text on your site.

The site has been designed and developed keeping User in mind. During the time of designing SE was not in our mind. But now I am trying to optimize it. You can see in the site my keywords are mentioned in all possible places and keywords are also not stuffed, but then also I am not in top 10 pages of SERP.

The keywords are placed properly where they are supposed to be. Since you are not ranking there can be various reasons.

Since how long have been doing the off-page of this site? Are the keywords relevant and very competitive?

Another thing which i saw on the site was that the content on the main page is very less and scattered. Each post has couple of lines and then the Continue reading option. What you could do is add more content there and give the More option.

There is no limitation declared by search engines, but you should carefully choose KWs to be sure you will get nice rankings with them

How does choosing the keywords determine how high a ranking a website will get? I don't understand the correlation. Rankings are determined based, in part, on the relevancy of the website to the keyword chosen, not the choice of keyword. Could you give a more detailed explanation of your post?

It is not over optimization as long as you are not stuffing keywords to the title, description, and content. But you have to remember that it should be compelling and not deceptive.

This is to ensure that click throughs will increase as you make compelling titles and description. For the content, you just have to provide things that users want.
