I have feeling that, Windows 8 tablet will get a good response. Majority people select ipad for entertainment purpose instead of working purpose, Win8 is maintain win7 UI + metro UI. Is is the first tablet have 2 in 1 feature. User can can plug keyboard and mouse.

On the other hand, android manufacturers is expected to lose badly.

I prefer Androd myself. I have never purchased any product running Apple's software because they are only available from Apple. Android and Windows 8 products, on the other hand, are available from a variety of manufacturers. Windows 8 requires a steep learning curve, and I don't like the tiles instead of icons. So, both my business and personal phones are Android.

Windows 8 Metro touch gestures are supported, so you can take advantage of all the underlying touch capabilities of Windows 8 as you build your app

iPad and Galaxy TAB are the best tablets. Windows tablet is better than IPAD in almost every field but it is lagging behind due to its poor appstore.

Agree, without apps the device and OS cant move further. In view of the number of .net developer, Windows should be no problem to produce more apps.
