Importance of customers!

    Can someone answer this simple question?

    "What is the importance of customer satisfaction for any business?"

    Customer Satisfaction- It is like a gold whose value will be ever increasing because it give you a loyal customer and loyal customer brings not only repeat sales but also other customers.... You are lucky if you are able to build up a base of customers with high satisfaction index..:)

    Customer satisfaction is an absolute requirement for any business that relies on repeat customers. If your customers are not satisfied with whatever it is they purchase from you, they are unlikely to buy from you again.

    In our business it's an absolute must. We operate in a very over saturated market (Web hosting) and the main thing we can do to stand out from larger competitors is keep our customers happy. High customer satisfaction has led to more and more referrals.

    Would like to answer this with a quote: A rule of thumb in marketing, "It is between six to eight times more expensive to acquire a new customer than it is to keep an existing one.

    If your customer is not satisfied with your service he would switch to your competitor. If you lose a customer it would be difficult and costly to get another one and you also lose on referred customers that would come your way through existing customers. And if your ex-customer was not happy with your service then he would also spread a bad word about you which would also cost you.

    So satisfying your customer is very essential and moreover you should aim for Customer Delight.

    Customer satisfaction is important factor in every businesses.
    It can be measured with their feedback or the continuity in purchasing our product or service.

    Customers are the king in the marketing scenario. Until and unless you tailor your offering as per the needs of your target customers, you won't be able to extract the benefits of marketing. Also you got to build a relationship with them in order to make their purchase behavior a frequent one. One way to build such relations is by occasional offering of the promotional products which would make them feel important and may make them consider while make their purchases next time.

    Customers are surely important. Without customers, there is no business at all. So, business is something that runs by customers. :) Customers Satisfaction is something that will make your business out of loss and you have some customers which will keep your business alive and profitable. We can know importance of Customers of we are the student of Economics or Marketing. :)

    Customers Satisfaction is very important, but you have to be careful. A couple years ago, we tried to please a customer so hard that, we lost money while doing business with him (Since we did whatever he required but then at last he didnt pay us enough to cover what we did). You have to keep the balance of making the customers happy but still making money from them.

    Exactly my point, Customer Satisfaction leads to Loyalty!

    ... In personal selling it’s still very easy to satisfy a customer but online how can you do that? How can you persuade a customer to buy from you online? I say online businesses need to evolve and go for a strategic plan to overcome the barriers of online stores or websites.

    yes if you want to success your business you need to first satisfy your customer for good services.
