I have a lot of email address (well, one for personal use, one for a forum I staff on and another for my college use) and along with each of these are a lot of contacts attached. I basically had trouble going through each IMs and I finally decided to use Trillian to make my life easy :D

It brings all your IMs and email accounts on one platform and gives you real time notifications about your emails! There are others like Digsby also in the market and are free.

Do you use any of these?

I personally use pidgin. Great little tool and keeps everything organized. Personal chats stay apart from business chats.

Woot! Pidgin is perfect too! I used them for around 2-3 months, but after that, I had to dump them because it seems that their client constantly overpowers my poor CPU. But after I brought a new laptop, I turned into Trillain, because I realized, by that time, I actually forgot my pidgin password :D
