Are there avatars/advertisements available from BAF? So we can use them on other forums or on our blogs? I also think that the contests going on are an amazing good way to get some more people interested in business ;)

    Keep it up!

Great forums. I urge everyone to do the same and take part.

A few small things that will make it even better:
    - If you post a question, try and also answer someone else's.
    - If someone helps you, give them thanks
    - Post an answer where you have genuine advice to give or request, not just to agree with someone else. It helps keep the forums valuable
    - Keep self-promotion to the freebie sections

    Enjoy and participate.

Thanks for the kind words and support mv5869. I've actually made some changes to the "Thanks" system and it is now more available and accessible for all members to use.

I'll do my part to getting involved (any way I could) through this campaign, in behalf of your team, Fergal.

I have to be honest that I am already learning a lot from this forum. Getting massive infos, great ideas and useful tips.

Keep it up guys and more power to BAF!

    Regards everyone,
    --Gerry

Thanks Gerry, all help with promoting BAF is most welcome, even telling one of your friends about our site would be great.

Thanks also mv5869, for offering to help. Sahil that information has been updated, and the details included in the first post of this thread.

I would like to apply for the mod positions because I can follow all rules and tasks and make this forum growing. I am having a two year mod and co-admin experience.

The best Business Advice Forum I've found. Even better than the main business forum for the UK. I love this site. Yes, it's small, but the members come from a diverse background and everyone gets along. I will also be doing my bit to help promote BAF soon, I feel it's only fair considering all of the help and advice I've received from BAF so far. :)

Although this is an old post, but the information is great. So I decide to put a comment and bring up for discussion.

The great benefit to be moderator is not title nor incentive. Experience to manage a high traffic forum is much more value than reward.

It's really a good experience for one to moderate a forum like this, especially if you have plans on opening a forum sometime in the future.
