How to spot best online marketing company

    There are many online marketing or seo company today. A lot of them speaks a very nice work that i am convince well. The real situation is, the more I contact them, the more confusion i got. So my question is how to find or what are the criteria of a good seo company.

    Having looked at sites of people offering internet marketing for business training recently I found a few things that may help you:

    What does their site look like?
    Where does it rank in relevant searches? or how well is it optimized?
    Check traffic rank in something like alexa where you can put the site in and get details on rank, audience etc (if they can't get good traffic to their own site???)

    Go for some obvious questions:
    How do they determine what keywords to optimize for
    Do they do on page and off page optimizaetion or just off page?
    What analytics do they use and do you have access to the analytics account or can you set up your own?
    Does it include paid marketing (PPC, PPV) or similar, organic ranking only
    What do they know about facebook ads
    Can you speak to any of their clients?
    Can they show you 3 successful campaigns including what the end benefit in sales was to the customer?
    What different marketing strategies do they use?
    How do they ensure they are gaining the attention of your target audience?

    I find that there is no best online marketing. It's more important to which methods suit you.
    Am i right?
    The one that you think is best might not be the best for you.
    But everyone have their own.
    I'm learning everyday.

    In order to select one, you must first short list few based on your research. Google it and read the company profile and all to come up with at least 3-4 such sites. Now via chat or meeting discuss with them in detail about your project. Ask them the basic questions as mentioned by my friends above and evaluate them on those basis.
