I would say that the best way to reduce your bounce rate is to provide content on your site that is of interest and beneficial to your users. Visitors are obviously much more likely to stay on your site if they can find something that interests them there. It is also important that your site is professional in appearance and that it is user-friendly so that visitors can see very quickly how the site might benefit them and then quickly find whatever content they are looking for.

Do you ask your question in relation to any particular type of site eelizasanchez121?

Is there something on your site that you think is cool but really isn't offering any value to the user? 'If you have a splash page when users enter, you're probably causing half the people to leave..

According to me that the best way to reduce your bounce rate is to improve load times, make related content accessible and avoid excessive ads.

For high bounce rate there are n number of reasons:
    1) Identify why you are getting high bounce rate.
    2) Is it from Organic or Refferal traffic??
    3) Are there any designing issues on your site?

Well to reduce the bounce rate of the website, you should try to get more page views from your visitors by using some tactic methods like adding a link: read more in the content. It would help in getting more pageviews from the visitors. If the information in your website or page is really helpful then users will obviously go through the link/click to continue his reading.

Beside analytics on page flow, you may hire real people to test the site.

An informative content does it all. Besides, your readers will have their eyes glued on your site if they know that they found what they are looking for.
