What have you been doing so far? There are several ways, both online and offline, to promote a website, and in some cases it depends on the type of website it is. Some members will recommend using services they provide, and without knowing what you have done, it is difficult to recommend what else you can do. Also, in certain cases, you may be doing something to promote your website, but you are doing it wrong. Can you provide the URL, so we can take a look at the website to give you even better advice?

Chinatrip could you please tell us a bit more about your website, or if you are comfortable with it tell us the website address. The more info you can give about your site, the more helpful will be the suggestions you get.

It starts with quality contact, but there is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes as well. Personally, I was in the same boat that you were, so I hired an expert on the subject. Go to Elance and post what you are looking for. Even a short consultation with an expert in the field can provide you with a lot of good ideas. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, they may be able to provide some guidance at a very reasonable price.

Inbound Marketing does it all. I know it's hard to "get found" in this world wide web, but it's easier to "pull in" your prospects if you have a trustworthy and informative content.
Once you have a new website, promoting it online will be a bit difficult. Either you advertise it on other most visited public sites, or you can even try doing an email campaign. Email campaigns work. These get you leads.
But make sure that your email campaigns really show what you're doing. We specialize on email marketing :)

You should try SMO and SEO for your website. You should keep it update. and try to get top rank in search engine by using SEO and SMO.

    Where are you now?

Hi you should have at least check your website if it's search engine and seo-friendly. Sometimes all SEO efforts will be useless if the pages and coding within the sites didn't passed the standards like proper meta tags, internal linking structure, 404, robots.txt, sitemaps etc.

If you had checked all those criteria, your problem is within the methods of your promotion. It's much better that you left us the link to your website so we can take a look at it.

As Fergal said, a truly helpful answer to this question would require more information about your website. For instance, if you're selling a product or have sellable (or, ideally, sold) ad inventory and can unequivocally make the math work, paid advertising makes sense. Otherwise you'll probably want to look at content-based strategies (be it onsite content, posting to forums, blog comments, guest blog posts and more) and social media strategies.

There are so many ways are available for website promotion. Using promotional items marketing you can also introduce your business offers and getting success, because most of people like to buy promotional items like pens, mugs, lanyards etc from online stores.

Closing this thread because Chinatrip hasn't come back to post specifics regarding the original question.

Please feel free to send me a PM if you would like it re-opened.
