I am not sure if you will be able to moderate the first post of every topics, but its possible for you to enable post reviews in specific sections. To do that, follow the steps below.

    1. Access your ACP
    2. Go to the manage forums tab.
    3. Choose the forum in which you want post review enabled and then click on the orange 'cog wheel' towards the right.
    4. Scroll towards the bottom and you will see an option titled 'Enable post review'
    5. Select Yes, and click on 'submit' towards the extreme bottom

    There you go!

I'm not sure if its a good idea to moderate them from posting the first time. I might just stay away if its me. I wanted to have freedom when in the forum. keep in mind that registering is as painstaking as hell only to find out they still are moderated after it.

Hi, This has to be done as my forum is FULL of spammers :( I don't know how to get rid of it. Any tips ?

Infact, I am having to moderate ALL posts now as the spam bots are posting not just one but several posts in order to get past the approval system. GRRR...

Have you installed Anti-Spam ACP, it should be a big help?
