What's the easiest way to know and understand what a ethical SEO company is?
First of all,we are supposed to use a secure Payment.
For myself,I prefer a local SEO company which I can visit in person.
I would recommend asking for references - ask about their former clients, visit their websites and, if possible, ask about feedbacks.
Simple answer, the particular SEO company must be able to good rank for its own keywords. Try search keywords such as SEO company, seo consultant, seo specialist, seo service, seo package, seo firm either on local Google or Google.com.
Another good way to check if they are reputable is to make sure they are only using "white hat" methods. All of there SEO methods should be ethical and within the search engine ranking rules. The last outcome you want to happen is for your site to be red flagged, marked or put in the bad kids sandbox. The SEO company you work with should be willing to share with you in detail there approach to increasing your rankings.
Although you are able to visit the company in person, being local does not necessarily mean they are reputable. When you visit the company, is your account representative available? Do they actually answer your questions honestly, or do they talk around it without actually giving an answer. Do they actually know what they are talking about. Do they keep up with the latest techniques, or have they been using the same techniques for years? Whether a company is national or local, these are the questions you should ask.
They should not only rank for keywords related to seo, but they need to be keywords their potential clients actually search - you then know they can do the same for you.
These are both very good suggestions. I would however, use DaveB's suggestion first, then use mysandyda's. In order to protect themselves and their clients, a reputable, ethical company will only give references to someone who has a serious interest in their services. If you ask for references before you actually talk to them about their services, they will get suspicious of you, thinking you may be a competitor trying to learn their secrets, or trying to steal their clients, even if that may not be your intention. So, while discussing their services, they will ask for your website's URL so they can discuss possible keywords and on-page optimization.
Visit there own site .and check there own keywords how much they have worked on that.Than ask them to their clients and then check out the client sites.
Very Good Thread and and very valuable answers from the members
Ask for client references and be sure to do your own research on them by Googling them online to see how they rank and if they have any user reviews on reputable sites.
Prices also matter. Some companies demand £4000 for 2 keywords to stay at page 1 for 6 months. That is outrageously high.
I divided it out and that comes out to about 667 pounds per month - that is way too high. I would also question why an SEO company would only help you stay on page 1 for six months. Unless they are very good at what they do, it would take 6 months just to get you to page 1 - if not more. Even the best SEO firms, who might be able to get you ranked within 3-4 months, depending on how competitive the keywords are, would get your site stabilized in a couple of more months, and your six months are now over.
No matter what they charge, I would not do business with a company that puts a time limit on the time you would be on page 1, or promises you will be on page 1 in a specified amount of time, or ties you down to a long term contract. Yes, SEO requires a long term commitment, but if you are not satisfied with their service, you should be free to leave, and find someone else if you wish.
Ask about feedback and tell them to send their previous performed websites. Next, check the page rank of the sites.
Check the seo company should have own brand awareness,
Check the seo company should have business portfolio,
Check the seo company's expertise, he is adaptable and known the latest concepts,
Check the seo company's online presence, it means like traffic, online activities etc.
Check the seo company's testimonial
i would recommend a seo company that provides very good service at very low rate every one can approach
SEO company should have good page rank, detailed information in website, and it is better to see the presentation. there are lot of SEO companies are there providing the SEO & SMM services with affordable cost. and makes your website more visible and brings good page rank. "
- Check their portfolio
- Ask them about the time period in which they can rank your website, if they say something like in just 1 month or week don't listen to them because they also know they are lying
- Ask their former clients
- Check their own website it should fulfill the standard of an SEO company
i think it's very difficult to accurately determine the quality of a SEO company...
Even the best SEO companies might not be able to help you get a lot of backlinks, which depend a lot on your website's sector/niche and its quality...
and then you got to consider value for money... even if a company is good, if they are charging too much, it could reach a point where the results can't justify what you pay...
I checked out seochum.com, and it appears to be a brand new company, and the website is not finished yet. Although this does not necessarily mean they are not reputable, they do not provide a physical address on their contact us page, and their "WHOIS" listing lists "Vpswebserver" as the Technical and Administrative Contacts for the website.
I visited Nichesuite's website, and they appear to offer a variety of services related to e-commerce, of which SEO is only one. Because they are not an SEO firm as such, they may not be able to provide the level of service needed to get a website ranked in a reasonable period of time. I would be interested in hearing from some of their clients to see how good their results are, and how sustainable those results have been.
In las vegas seo process is done in very large terms, there a number of companies which provide search engine optimization services at very efficient cost.
For me, one of the best ways to know whether an SEO Company is ethical or good is on how their OWN websites rank and builds credibility over the worldwideweb. Try looking for previous clients and do not just rely on reviews about them. Also try asking them some plans that they would implement once they start SEOing your website, ask them to audit your website and then see of their suggestions are great.
try to find testimonials for particular site..ask their clients for reference as well check their website quality and ranking..
