You can use the defragmentation option in your system to conserve the memory and space. that will increase speed of your pc.

    Step1
Tell your computer what to do by pressing "Control Alt Delete" at the same time. When the autopilot is off and you're at the controls, you can also disable programs that are slowing down your computer.
    Step2
    Click the "Processes" tab.
    Step3
View every program that is running on your computer at that time. You can also sort them by how much memory they are using, thereby finding the programs that are slowing down your computer overall. The third step is to look through the programs and identify the sluggish culprits.
    Step4
Click the offending program or process, then click "End Process." You just sent it to an early grave.
    Step5
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 as needed to increase performance.

    Scan your Spyware/Adaware

Scan your computer for viruses and spyware. Make sure and get rid of any nasty viruses or spyware that are located in your computer.

What is your current configuration? There are various reasons for a computer to be slow. Depending on that you could take steps to improve it.

it is highly recommended that uninstall unnecessary software's from your PC and run CCcleaner. However, remove all your files from recycle bin and also templ folder from your computer. Restart one time, once you done with all this activities.

I will also say to you check your current RAM and upgrade its capacity like if you have a two slots for RAM in your motherboard and you are using only one then you can use another one with stall one more ram.

You can defragment it,run ccleaner, uninstall useless things by revo uninstaller, and on the other hand if you posses a low config. than you simply need to upgrade yourself.

    Hi

If you liked to keep all your background apps running, I advise you to get an upgrade for RAM or a faster CPU.
If you don't need all the background apps, enable those apps with MSConfig (Tab menu --> Startup --> select those apps --> enable all) and also download CCleaner.

    Hope this helped.

Well, it depends on the reasons why it works slowly. Is it cash (use Ccleaner), or RAM shortage or the old CPU or everything at a time. If it is the latest case, change your pc )))

check your wires, try restting your router, and definitely remove unwanted files and programs from your computer. Also buy a removable drive, transfer some info like pictures, photos and more etc and to the to your removable drive, delete those same files now from your computer. Try and make as much space on your computer as possible, DELETE the recycle bin. Also check your connection speed provided by your provider, as it won't go faster that the speed your package includes....just a few things that may help

buying a removable drive is not a must, but it will provide more space for your computer, helping with computer speed which can help increase internet speed.

    make sure check for viruses

Most of the computer problems are the result of viruses, spywares and the registry overload. If proper care is taken in addition to hardware maintenance check, computer performance can be stabilized.

A simple way to speed up the computer is to periodically clean the disk. There are some files, like Temporary Internet Files, that can safely be removed.

These are web pages stored in the computer's hard disk to enable quick viewing of pages previously visited. These are different from bookmarked pages, and can be safely removed. Click on Start button > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup.

Another reason for slowing down of the computer is fragmentation of files and data forcing the hard disk to work more. The solution is to periodically defragment the disk.

Click on Start button > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter. Before the process begins, the system analyzes the data to find out if there is a need for defragmentation in the first place. The process rearranges fragmented data so the disks and drives can work more efficiently.

    Try following methods:-

    # Defragmentation.
    # Cleanup Temp Files
    # Clear unwanted files, garbage files
After Doing all these steps if your system still faces the same issue than just change the RAM.

To increase your computer speed, erase any unwanted, unnecessary, unknown data or files or programs. Make sure you don't delete Windows's files. Clean the interior of your PC (Desktop). You can also upgrade RAM / HardDisk. Your computer may have been hit with virus/malware/spyware, Always install a antivirus. You can still get a free full version antivirus in torrents.

The most neglected thing is everyone saves the data on desktop, try not to save data on the desktop as it takes space from C drive, which affects the speed.
