    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
    <url>
    <loc>http://www.example.com/1.html</loc>
    </url>
    <url>
    <loc>http://www.example.com/2.html</loc>
    </url>
    <url>
    <loc>http://www.example.com/3.html</loc>
    </url>
    </urlset>

    This is how a basic sitemap.xml goes. The page url goes in <loc></loc> tags and each <loc> tag must be wrapped in <url></url> tag. You can add as many as you want just wrapped each page in right tag as shown in the above example. Good Support has more advanced and detailed level information. Manually Creating a Sitemap

    1. Create a text file and save it with a .xml extension (ie. sitemap.xml)

    2. First lines of the file:

    <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
    <urlset xmlns=”http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9″>

    3. Create an entry for each URL. The <loc> tag is required, the others are optional.

    <url>
    <loc>http://www.example.com/</loc>
    <lastmod>2005-01-01</lastmod>
    <changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
    <priority>0.8</priority>
    </url>

    4. Last line of the file:

    </urlset>
    5. Upload the file to your server and then submit it to the search engines.
