How long do you wait for a page to load? I like quick loading pages and will only wait a few seconds. If the page will not load fully by then I move on and pick a different site to visit.

Yes, that is why site speed make effect on sales. Always choose a dedicated server for a E-commerce site if you really need a business.

Maximum 5 sec. Today one of the most important things businesses display nowadays is their website. Those that are slow and not maintained, especially compared to their competitors’, will undoubtedly lose business.

Ditto for me. If a page won't load quickly there is most likely a competitor site that will, which will make it more pleasant to browse.

I am using Firefox. If the page loading is really slow, I will just leave the tab in backstage and visit other websites.

Sometimes it depends if the website is compatible on the browser that you use. Sometimes a website loads fast but only the browser loads it slowly. There are many factors that affect website speed and this falls under user experience for websites - which may further affect bounce rates.

I could give it even 20 seconds, because there can always be a problem with my connection(sometimes its out fault!). If everything is ok with my net connection and the page takes a year to load, it's doomed for me! Muahah!
