Should you track the campaigns daily, weekly or monthly?
Thanks in advance
I have track PPC campaigns on weekly basis.
Chris, who are you running your PPC campaign with? If it's on Google Adwords they provide excellent reporting functions that allow you to track the results of your ads on a daily basis if you wish. With a newer campaign you might decide to check it everyday and then when you are happy that it is running successfully, reduce the frequency to weekly.
Well you can make a weekly and monthly basis for more detailed report.
The best way to track the PPC campaign is understanding the
Do audiences prefer to call or complete online forms?
Which keyword bids generate the most qualified leads?
Are we spending too much on a specific keyword bid?
What is our total cost per conversion?
Which elements of our campaign are under-performing?
You can always use Google AdWords or something like http://www.kissmetrics.com/
You can make use of several SEO tools that has PPC, SEO and other SEM campaign tracking tools, for example Raventools, SEMRush, and SEOmoz tools.
I track daily to check the conversion rate and expense of total budget.
Daily, and hourly.
Depend upon the campaign nature, if the campaign is of adword then weekly.
I agree with you Google Ad words tool is very useful to Seo guys for PPC campaign .But we have to monitor our account in daily basis. Thanks for useful post !...
