How do I figure out how much it costs local businesses to advertise in their local paper, radio, tv... How do I figure out their costs and how many people they are hitting. And I want to do this for multiple cities nationwide.

yonidf99 probably the best way to do that would be to contact the publications directly and ask them to give you a quote. Ask them for their best price and their circulation figures.

Would that work for you, or do you need something else?

The best way you can do this is contact the publications or local tv/radio stations and ask for a price quote. It's also a good thing that you know which of these publications/tv/radio stations leading in their field so that you can get into a wider range of audience that could see and read your ads.
