Welcome to Business Advice Forum adviceman.
May we know what kind of T-Shirts do you sell? And also, a link to your online store will help.

Welcome to our business forum adviceman. I'd also like to know the website address of your T-shirt store, we will be able to offer you better suggestions if we have a clearer idea of what you are promoting.

Have you considered selling on eBay?

What have you been doing so far, to promote your store?

Hi well if you tell us what kind of staff you sell we may help you...
If you sell shirts with funny logos or slogans just send one free to some cool YouTube person with a lot of videos views and ask him to promote them :D

I would suggest finding someone that knows how to optimize your website search engine page rankings. You may have heard about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I currently working with an expert. My website has moved from outer space to page 4-5. It's a lot work but will pay off if you can get your site to page one or so. Good luck.

If you don't mind my asking, how long did it take to get to page 4-5? It's great that you are no longer in outer space, but you are now in orbit when your potential clients are on the planet surface.

Your can learn alot about SEO on your own doing some resource, theres alot of resources available just depends on how you learn them. As always you can ask questions from other business or webmaster owners. I would try to cover all your basic & Standard SEO on your own, Primarily so you can get an understanding of whats involved & the advantages, Kinda tough to pay someone to do something If you can't follow or understand what it is that they are doing.

Get yourself some quick experience, theres many tutorials & walkthroughs online. Once you take a crack at it keep an eye on your traffic & results, then put together a decent budget for someone to help you do SEM for your website.

You can get a hugeeee response without spending alot of money, if you do things properly & target your audience accurately you should get the overall response your looking for :)

You may consider going to different free forum that allows you to post link. Read forum rules so that it would not be considered spamming! This would help for SEO too.

To make your online business successful you must have the following characters self-discipline, your intelligence, your communication skills, and your focus. Address your solution to the problem that your costumers are seeking, then use your findings to generate an item for consumption that you can vend to this market. If you’re lacking in any of these areas, your business results will reflect it.

You may try tagging your friends in Facebook so your friend's friend will also see your ads.

Well, tagging people on things that he/she might not be interested is irritating.
Maybe I can consider that ad spamming. Luckily, I haven't been tagged like that.

Based on your model, I would concentrate on the following:

    - set up your directory listings with Yahoo and Google...it's free and they work. you'll need to set up accounts and add your business name, address, contact info and website
    - google adwords (pay per click) is perfectly suited for this....initially build your campaign locally (i.e. 20 mile radius) to keep cost at a minimum
    - set up a Facebook Page for your business...start out by adding friends and family...through good content, sample t-shirt design pics, it'll spread virally

Once you start increasing traffic and sales, I would increase your Google AdWords reach and possibly run some geo-targeted ad campaigns on Facebook.

    promoting your website

If you wants to promote your web site and store and make people aware you just go to any SEO specialist guy. he will promote your website by advertising and bookmarking on related sites and also in social networking site. this is the best idea. you have no need to give description about your site on forum. you just tell about your store to that person and he will make aware the people. :)

Although rapidbilling may be trying to help, and has a good idea, I probably should qualify a few things. It is not a good idea to go to "any SEO specialist guy". We have found that many of our competitors and people who claim to be an "SEO specialist" do not have the knowledge and/or techniques to help properly, and some even use what are referred to as "black-hat" techniques, that can result in getting a site banned.
Next, true SEO specialists do not simply advertise and book mark on related sites. They use your keywords to send links to your site, called "backlinks", from a variety of blogs, networking sites, and social bookmarking sites. These links are picked up by the search engines, and your site is moved up the rankings for your chosen keywords.
Finally, feel free to give a description of your site here, and perhaps add a link to your site in your signature. Giving others business advice is what this forum is for - hence the name "Business Advice Forum".

    @rapidbilling

I checked out your site, and you could use the help of an "SEO specialist guy" yourself - a real one, not the one's I mentioned above. PM me, or visit my site for more information.

To Develop an online business, first of all you should have a good website,
optimize your website according to your products and services,
    target good search rich keywords
and get good rank on SERPs

    how to promote your site?

Hello Joeroxx, I mean to say whatever you said in your above post. He, adviceman can not do the all that keyword searching and and applying, called "backlinks", from a variety of blogs, networking sites, and social bookmarking sites means whole SEO. :dunno:The SEO specialist can do this better and he will not use the black-hat methods to promote your site if he is a specialist. that's why i have mentioned the word "specialist". :)

Ther is no doubt that someone who specializes in SEO can do a better job. However, as I mentioned, many who claim to be specialists will take a client's money and not do a proper job, and some do use "black-hat" techniques. Therefore, rather than go to "any SEO specialist guy", adviceman would do better if he checked them out first.

I agree with joeroxx here. It's much better if you do it on your own, rather than ask some guy, who claims to be a SEO specialist, to do it for you. :D

Actually, I need to clarify something here. Rapidbilling originally said that adviceman does not have the time to do it himself. If he had the time, and was able to do it properly to get the results he needs, GekiDan would be correct. If adviceman does not have the time, and wishes to hire someone to do it for him, he should check them out thoroughly, rather than hiring, as rapidbilling said, "some SEO specialist guy".
