    Hello everyone,

I'm updating my prices at www.irisheducationcenter.com, and I'm still puzzled on what is a fair price? it seems as if no one is willing to pay for Irish(Gaeilge) lessons? Any ideas on I could price this better?

    kind regards,

    DavidJ

    Hello Mark Taylor,

I added two options for classes. One is a 12-week course for $45.00. The other is a 6-week course for $30.00. Each course has a class twice a week. For those people who are part of an Irish-American organization, the 12-week course is 35% off. And finally for those people who would like a trial lesson, I offer one for free.

That sounds like great value David. Are the classes given online or in an actual classroom?

They are given online, but if a person lives in the nearby area I wouldn't mind teaching him or her in person. In the past, I attempted to charge per lesson but that didn't work out as well.

Online Irish Dance lessons! You gotta love entrepreneurship (and the opportunities that the internet brings)

They are actually Irish language lessons, but you might be on to something there, Irish dancing is extremely popular and perhaps that's an opportunity David could explore ;)

If you are offering 6 classes for $40, there isnt much point of the one class for $20. Unless if it's you're goal to promote selling more classes to your clients.

Have you also tried to look at your competitors? You might be able to see something from them which you can use to further develop your online classes or education services.
