Do you want to have a high paying job while saving the world from climate change?
According to Yahoo Hot Jobs, here are some of the jobs that might even pay you more than $30 an hour while saving the planet from destruction:

    1. Regional sales manager
    2. Environmental engineer
    3. Computer systems analyst
    4. Urban/regional planner
    5. Hydrologist
    6. Construction project manager
    7. Nonprofit executive director

Although these jobs need a person who studied a certain degree, it's a good oppurtunity to these persons to help the planet while working.

It's good to hear that those jobs pay well. It's also anticipated that there will be lots of employment opportunities in green industries in the future. It is a huge growth area that is becoming increasingly important as we learn more about the damage we are doing to our planet. The environmental sector is one that anyone looking for a job or looking at education options should definitely be considering.

Since nursing students and graduates are so large in numbers that their jobs got outnumbered, this might be a good alternative for students to get on these courses and have a good future ahead of them.

You are right on that part. I can't really believe that students are still pursuing nursing even though there is no stable or available jobs here and abroad. And if there are some, it's only minimal. :(

Up to a few years ago, Ireland had a shortage of nursing staff. Hence, we recruited lots of nurses from abroad, especially from the Philippines and India. However, now that we are in recession the Government has stopped recruiting and there are no new nursing jobs.

Haven't heard of environmental engineer but sounds cool - you are earning more then you can also help the environment too.
