I have an international student that is working for me. She wants to get a green card to stay with us. I'm not sure if she'll leave once we pay for application. Can I have her pay for the application/allocation process. From what I read it will cost between $10-20k

Well, this one I am sure she is not obliged to do so. However if this is your concern which is most of the employers are then you can try to negotiate with her that in order for you to get this green card. You'll have to play for yourself by either installment deducting from the pay or she can pay it in one shot.

    Hi mas888,
I agree with you, its depend on your decision. If you really want to help him to get a green card, then pay the amount and deduct from his salary.
    Thanks!!

    Hey, Keval.

I agree with the salary deduction scheme suggested by mas888 and davisgraham. This makes the entire situation a win-win. Let us know what you decide on! Good luck.
