No exact info yet, just numbers. A lot of rumors around but nothing exact yet.
We can remember that the last Google update was about EMD's ...

Additionally, the news said that as soon as G announced the update, they have linked to one of their older blog post: http://news.submitinme.com/newsdetails-267.aspx

This said, for sure, have something to relate on with the 21st update.

    Regards,
    Mark T

Not much change seen in most US SERPs. Although I fear that it might change this week.

It's only a minor update like many others.

    Hi all,

Google also recently released an EMD update which aims to take away the advantage of Exact Match Domains. This, in conjunction with the Panda and Penguin updates are designed to convince website owners that "content is king". In fact, both Google and Bing are no longer giving the same weight to keyword density.

Just focus on producing quality, informative content and the rest will take care of itself!

Thanks for that CopyPros. Prior to Panda update 21, EMD was released by Google to target those exact match domains in the web. They still are giving some weight to keyword targeting but not as aggressive as before, making the online community to shift into branding and lesser keyword exat match targeting.

    Agreed!

White hat has always been the only way to go.

What we tell our clients is that's it's completely futile to try and game the system when the rules can be changed at any given moment. Panda, penguin, EMD and other smaller algo changes prove it.

Having an EMD isn't somehow trying to game the system. I can still see some EMDs on top. Some however may have done something unethical which cause the drop of their ranking.

    Hey there!

Yeah Google introduced Panda update recently. Some site owners were overwhelmed because their sites increased its rank unfortunately for some it dropped their ranking in an instant. Painfully, my site was affected by it too. At that point in time I was so devastated and it seems my world fell apart because of the massive lost in just one night. The mere fact that I've allotted all my time and effort just to increase my ranking and traffic.

Indeed, I've already set my mind that I can't do anything at all just to regain my site's status. However, I've changed my mind and it makes me think what if I will do some adjustments on the site. In fact, when I followed the guidelines inside the Panda Breakthrough program, he instructed me to do a bunch of modification on my site. Basically, modifying how I wrote my content, design and navigation modification. Also, he manage to clear up my mind what Google wanted primarily statics and metrics. Actually, my website recovered from the depressing update regardless of the enormous changes, all the hardship I've encountered and patiently waited for the Google to re-crawl the changes. The most substantial is showing that you have a great website in the end.
