    Hi all,

How much bounce rate is correlated to goole penalty. Mean if some website having high bounce rate 80% above.. Is there any chances that google puts penalty due to this factor.

    Regards

bounce rate is a percentage of traffic on your site and their turnover if leave without scrolling or entering in another page.

Bounce rate is not a cause of going penalized. It is the traffic rate which stay at your site, how much time they stay your bounce rate according to that.

Lower the bounce rate. Higher chance you'll get a sale. Offer live chat and initiate the chat to offer customer service. If they chat with you. Its a good chance that they'll make a purchase and make your bounce rate lower.

I think so that, Google robot penalized site due to high bounce rate, because Google think that particular web page has nothing for user that's why user leave that page quickly. So make sure while creating page, your page include some needy information for user.

Not all site owner implement GA code, so bounce rate is not a standard metrics.

Some very high quality sites have high bounce rates. E.g. a lot of people who visit Wikipedia find it through a search on Google, the first page they visit on Wikipedia gives them the info they need and then they leave the site without exploring it further. A high bounce rate doesn't necessarily mean that the site is of poor quality and not of interest to its visitors.

That inforgarphic is just a guide, the info may not correct, e.g. the percentage of backlink and stolen content. Google does not use bounce rate as metric, but if a user visit X site for 3 second, and return to search another keywords visit Z site for 10 minutes. Through IP and cookies tracking, search engine can summarize that, Z site is more relevant to searcher. So the next cycle update, X site will drop ranking in SERP.
