Google Analytics Via FTP

    I have a website and i need to Setup Google Analytics. But i have only FTP login information. I am Using FileZilla for FTP. I want To know that how to install Google Analytics via FTP. I need to install that In every page of website. Please Tell me how i can do that.

    You need to insert the tracking code withing the </head> tag of your index page then upload it via ftp. It should begin tracking after 24 hours.

    Would this track visitors for all pages??

    If your website is database driven then you need to put in only one page or else you have to put it in every single page which you want to track. You can download each file via ftp and then add the analytic in every page and uplaod it via ftp

    Hi, Just Goto >> http://www.google.co.uk/analytics/ >> if you have already your gmail account , use your gmail account in login box , or make your new gmail account , and then sign in Google analytics ,

    1 : after sign in Click on (admin) you can see this tag on right hand side
    2: click on new account ,
    3: fill form,
    4 : click on Get id Tracking,
    5 : copy all links and paste in your website's index file >> ... < Head > Your traking link < / head >
    6: you can edit this file via FTP or Cpanel,

    Using FTP, you should put analytics codes to pages that you want to track. You must put it manually.
