Technical aspects to do analysis of the Google Analytics Analysis???
What do you mean by the Technical aspects? Do you mean how to make use of the Google Analytics for your site analysis?
Bounce rate, traffic visitor, keywords, regional traffic, referring site, returning vs unique visitor - help us understand user behavior.
OS, screen resolution - it is guide for design, so that it fit majority screen.
Visitor flow - it tell relation of each link pages, help us recognize which page important to readers.
in-page - visual response of a site.
I think patrick0001 pretty much summarized all of the things needed to analyze the data you get in Google Analytics. Although I'd like to add this one, I find it useful. This is an article by Rand Fishkin which I know most of you know is the Founder & CEO, SEOmoz. Well anyway here it is: socialmedia.biz/2011/07/13/how-to-analyze-social-traffic-in-google-analytics/
I prefer statcounter.com over Google A. I find SC has better results, gives you more information and more recent info. I tested that about 2 months ago so things may have changed?
I prefer to do Keyword analysis and checking the referring websites which transfer traffic to my website. I also check the hits from the specific country in which i target customers.
Anybody used StatCounter also? Looking for some reviews.
Very valuable information on social media analytics and perspectives. Definitely worth a look for anyone interested in search engine marketing or social media marketing.
The OP is asking technical aspects about GA, not comparison over SC
Keyword analysis, totally out of topic!!!!!!!! the OP is asking GA.
Advise to open a new thread for SC question.
