    Can anyone help me please.
I have imported some goods from China; the shipment Port is Durban; but the goods are going to Zambia.
    1. How does the customs clearance of goods in transit works?
    2. which kind of documentation the seller must issue to me?

    Hello maloba.
I'll answer this based on my experiences in importing goods.
May I just ask how much is the declared value of the shipment? And how heavy is it? What does it contain?

    1. They will inspect it once they reach your port. They don't inspect it when it's still in transit.
    2. Most likely the receipt. I'm not pretty sure on this one since I haven't really showed any documentation of the items I purchased abroad.
