When you know you have a bad breath, and it's keeping you from socializing or interacting with other people because you fear that your bad breath will blow people away; then get rid of these fears. You are not the only one suffering from it. It is a very common problem and can be caused by very minute problems like not cleaning your teeth properly, digestion problems, smoking, and more.

Nice blog you have there, with some good information. I never knew that bad breadth can be caused by stress and that eating parsley can help cure it. Good luck with it.

I think the best way to get bad breathe away is to do mouth wash using some mouthwash syrups available in market.

I use to do so and I know it is really helpful.

Bad breath is experienced by most people at some time. It may simply be “morning breath” but can be a persistent chronic condition which affects a person’s everyday life and confidence.

Why to cure your Bad Breath

How will you feel if your sweetheart will refuse a kiss at the end of a day? We all get up in the morning with an awful smelly bad breath. Most of us solve this problem by simply brushing their teeth, but for the rest, unlucky ten percent of the population, the smell stays all day long. In this article I will give you the short story of my bad breath problem and the solution I have found.

Actually for me, it all started with my wife. She was the first person who told me that my breath is unbearable. Thanks to her I have solved the problem and saved myself lots of unpleasant moments. Well, she is a very direct person and she simply pointed out that it's her or the bad breath.

I was very surprised at first, but then I have started to notice the behaviour of people around me. It is hard to describe you my feeling when I saw someone turning his head a way while talking to me. It was the first time I was aware of the reaction of someone to the smell. And this feeling has led me to find a solution to the smell problem.

The second cause which motivated me was that I love my wife very much, understood her suffer and would hate to loose her.

First I thought that the solution will be very complicated that I will have to go through some kind of or throat surgery procedure, to eliminate the bad breath problem. But a couple of days and a few medical opinions later I knew this is not the way to cure bad breath. I have found, finally, that the answer is actually very simple.

The solution, which worked for me, was combined of two layers: tongue and gums. First your gums must be healthy. If they are swell or bleeding it will lead to a very bad breath situation and there is no need to go into details here. You could use special toothpaste if it’s a swell or dentist treatment if it’s a gum problem. Simply cure your gums. The tongue is the second ingredient. It has lots of bad breath causing bacteria. They must be removed, use any tongue cleaner you find and keep it clean.

That’s it. These two steps gave me back my life. I can kiss my wife when I come back from work. I can talk to everyone with out them turning their heads. I really feel better happier and self-confident like never before.

Bad breath is a common problem for most of the people. Sometimes, it can very much affect you. One of cause of bad breath is problem in stomach or digestion. No matter how much you brush your teeth, if you have problem in stomach then you will still have bad breath.

For this, you have to do some excerise for stomach. Digestion problem should be solved. And don't forget to brush your teeth two times a day depending on your toothpaste yu use,

    Hi,
I have few tips on that,

Don't let your tongue become a dirty carpet.

Bad breath often strikes when people aren't properly taking care of their oral health. The odor is usually caused by decaying food particles and bacteria in your mouth. That's why brushing and flossing your teeth is so important, but don't forget to gently brush your tongue to get rid of even more bacteria.

A clean tongue goes a long way to warding off bad breath, says Stephen Z. Wolner, a dentist in private practice in New York City. "Your tongue microscopically is like a shaggy carpet. There are millions of filaments on your tongue that trap tiny food particles and bacteria," he says. Get in the habit of regularly cleaning your tongue using a toothbrush, the edge of a spoon, or a tongue cleaner. If you have any mouth guards or oral devices, make sure to clean them thoroughly before putting them back in your mouth.

Mouthwash isn't a bad idea, but it's only a temporary fix. Granted, a little mouthwash comes in handy before a romantic dinner for two, but it masks the odor instead of tackling the source of your problem.
Chew gum like it's going out of style.

Believe it or not, saliva is your best weapon against bad breath. That's why dry mouth, often caused by certain medications or medical conditions, leads to odor problems. By washing away food particles and bacteria, saliva helps to eliminate odor, too.

If you're wondering why your breath stinks in the morning, it's largely because saliva production slows while you sleep, allowing particles and odor to linger longer. That's where sugarless gum comes in handy, as chewing it will stimulate saliva production. Mints, on the other hand, don't usually stimulate saliva production and only temporarily mask bad odor.

"When you chew gum it makes you salivate, and the more saliva you have in your mouth the fewer bacteria you have. It not only mechanically washes bacteria out, but we have antiseptic and enzymes in our saliva that kill bacteria," says Wolner.

While anything that makes you salivate will improve your breath, a gum that is sweetened with xylitol is your best option. Xylitol is a sugar substitute that not only increases salvation but also works to prevent bacteria from replicating in the mouth.
    Choose cinnamon -- it's sweeter.

A recent study of the cinnamon-flavored gum Big Red found that cinnamon might have breath-odor fighting abilities. Unlike other flavors, cinnamon is not just a cover-up, Wolner tells WebMD. In fact, he says, an ingredient in the flavoring appears to actually decrease the bacteria in your mouth. The only problem is that sugar gums are bad for your teeth, so stick to sugarless cinnamon-flavored gum instead.

Having the smell of what you've eaten, is this considered a bad breath?

In more than twenty years I've only encountered one case of what I call bad breath: at my bank an employee had not brushed her teeth at 9am... the smell was horrible and fortunately she was at the information desk, so she directed me to someone who had...
