While dealing with many people, I discovered that most of us can't be said to have good communication skills. Most of us weren't taught, from childhood, to listen or speak well. We usually interrupt others and think of what to say instead of listening to what is being said. When talking to others, there is no definite goal for most of our conversations so we may say nonsense or talk faster and sharper than others. You can take the following into account to start good communication: 1. Have something to say first. 2. Have a goal for starting a kind of communication with others. 3. Listen more to others with open mind and heart than to talk with them. 4. When talking, you should have an overall picture of what you are trying to convey and control words that you choose to say. Always remember, it is not just the words that do the job, it's a lot of other things, too. Good communication should be built on either a certain thought or a certain feeling. If you know any of what helps us start good communication, please share them with us.
