I am starting out developing small, fun games. I hope that if enough people play them and I can expand, I can turn this into a full blown business.

I was wondering what kind of games you would like to see? And if you do not play games, which do you think would be the most appealing?

    thanks for your help!

hcted have you any particular gaming niche in mind, e.g. some kind of strategy game, an arcade game or RPG?

@Gekidan - No, it will be games you install on your computer :)

@Fergal, not particularly - however I find that 'tank/army shooter' games have gotten over used.

I'm not a gamer myself so unfortunately I'm not in your target market. You certainly seem to have a lot on at the moment hcted, I don't know where you find the time to fit it all in and accomplish so much.

I love games! Depends on what type you are developing.

I find tower defense games addicting as well as MMORPG and Adventure games because of length of playability.

If you're gearing towards games that are bought and installed on a laptop or PC I have a lot of tycoon games on mine. Fish Tycoon. Hotel Tycoon. You name it I've bought it. I also like cooking and restaurant games like Diner Dash and Emily's Cafe.

Virtual Simulation games like The Sims are also popular. If you're looking for a smaller version of that something around the likes of Virtual Villagers will do.

Also puzzle and mystery games are in my mind when I want to just relax after a day's work.

What type of games will you be developing? Are they gonna be new?

    Best,

    Kayla

@Fergal - Thank you :) I work fast, I think that aids my speed and quality in doing these things. :)

@GekiDan - That is a good idea! That market of games really needs to be revised. Not everyone who wants to learn is in diapers and like banging on things. Thank you!

@Sigma - kind of like management games? Like running a hotel or store, ect?

@Msmicaela - I agree about MMORPG games - however if you don't make something good or you find there is a lot in the same market.. well it is a huge came to build. Thanks for your input on the games you like to see!

Thanks for the help everyone - this is benefiting my choice
